Karma is the totality of a person's actions and conduct during successive incarnations regarded as causally influencing his or her destiny.
So let us discuss Trump's karma. shall we?
For the best two years, which includes his stupefying "campaign," we as a nation have had to watch helplessly as the Beverly HIllarybullys moved from The Trump Tower Trailer Park Tower East to the Extreme White House and what a ride it's been.
Now being a glass-half-full kind of guy, I already see the rewards for having been subjected to Trump's fascist rantings, racist and sexist taunts, big little house white lies and sheer incompetent buffoonery.
And it's all thanks, ironically to empowered women. The ever-swelling belly of the #metoo movement.
Women by the millions have taken to the streets of the world and marched in pussy pink hatted defiance. More women are about to run for public office than any time in history.
And hopefully, all those indifferent Americans who did not vote in the last election will learn that hindsight is 2020,
Even before that, hopefully, hindsight will be 2018.
Sure, it's infuriating to be reminded of Trump's Accessex Hollywood grab boasting tape or remembering the photographs of the future Me First Lady in the nude, sprawled on her soft porn, immigrant bear skin rug aboard the Trump private jet, her massively reconfigured post-plastic surgery face staring blankly at the photographer as clueless and obedient as the trained show dog that she was.
But it is deeply satisfying now, to watch her sneer with contempt at her pig of a husband at his State of Their Union Address wearing of all things, a Hilary-like pants suit in virtuous white (!) which was, no doubt, a public rebuke to the whole Stormy Daniels pay off which evidently caught her blindsided. Really? You mean up to now she thought she was married to one stand up guy?
Everyone has a price, but sooner or later there is a price to pay.
Let us be reminded of the Me First Lady's initial resistance to moving into the White House. That would have forced her to have to share the Lincoln bedroom and the image that comes to mind for me is Sally Field as Mary Todd. More than a few first ladies went over the deep end. Some drank. Others had to endure their husband's infidelities.
When I compare the two Dons: Trump and Corleone, it's amazing that I find myself feeling far more affectionate to the Italian one.
You see, in the Godfather, we know that it's really Marlon Brando wearing a transparent mask in the lead role of a tragic, violent opera.
We know that James Caan, Al Pacino, and John Cazale are actors playing deeply flawed characters with explosive skill.
We know that the violence is not real.
We know that there will be literate, informative themes including retribution.
We feel the power and influence of Go through the rituals of the Catholic church.
The whole thing is massively symbolic and representative of our own collective ego, id, and super-ego on virtually every single level. We feel the wild spontaneous joy of a wedding. The deeply felt passion for our children. We see ourselves in faces of these lost, displaced immigrants who had to fight a massively corrupt society in order to make it in this country despite the odds against them.
We watch innocence become distorted and permanently disfigured.
We see that in the titanic/satanic shift in Michael and in the horrified face of Diane Keaton as she slowly realizes that beauty is married to the beast as the door closes and the King's ring is kissed.
We revisit that film and it's sequel, over and over and over again, because, to me, it's it's own kind of bible which makes Don Corleone more popular than John Lennon who in turn was more popular in the day, with kids, than Jesus.
It's the kind of morality play that you see on full display in Godfather Two.
We are supposed to learn from this, not act like it.
The problem is the Trump children: Connie, Michael, and Fredo are very real people---only they do not know it.
They were not raised to be real people.
Having no relationship with their dad whatsoever, although Connie Trump was certainly aware that her dad publicly stated that if he wasn't related to her, he would love to date her.
These people were basically raised like wolves in the money jungle, who, perhaps in an effort to have some kind of relationship with their absentee father, ) made the critical misguided and desperate choice to treat the world as if it was just another pussy grab rape victim. Money see, money do.
It's the easiest choice that anyone can make because it involves no honesty, no skill, no labor.
All that is required is a sense of outsized entitlement and an inescapable craving to loot and plunder.
In movies, that's what Captain Jack Sparrow does---and he's a swaggering, eye-lined cartoon of Keith Richards.
And in many ways, the entire Trump family is no more real than him.
We are used to presidents who were raised to be presidents. Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Jack Kennedy, even Nixon caught the destiny fever early on. Most understood the need to be humble, compassionate, public servants. Some were imperialists who preferred their lists black and their Pentagon Papers private. And let's not forget Pat Nixon was one of the aforementioned drunks.
We criticize our leaders by literally turning them into editorial cartoons. That reduces them to a level of childlike ridicule that is at once satisfying, revealing and most of all, almost always true.
But in the Trump world, how do you reduce a cartoon into a cartoon? Virtually nothing about Trump is real. Not his hair. Not his skin color. Not his talent. Not his promises. Not even his declarations that he will hardly if ever, take a golf vacation. Or if the dow every plummets 1,000 points, the president should be booted out.
His favorite word is "fake" because that is the world that he lives in. It is entirely manufactured, no doubt by a cheap labor sweat factory, filled to the brim with blind, crippled four-year-olds in Vietnam.
He is so stupid that he actually tells the truth.
The election was indeed rigged. The news is fake; the news that he creates.
He is such a terrible liar and that is why his lawyers are going to prevent him at all costs from being interviewed by Bob Mueller, who knows a thing or two about real life, given that he is a decorated war hero who raised an actual handicapped child, as opposed to hiring one to make your cheap knockoff ties or next cup of espresso.
Trump is a gamer who cheats which is why I refer to him as The Demander and Cheat.
Rules and laws are for suckers in his domain and that is what makes him so popular amongst his unenlightened, gullible lemming followers who have become the equivalent of pre-World War Two Germany who never rebounded from their earlier world war gambit.
Hitler promised to make Germany great again and did it by empowering white people while blaming a minority to the point of killing six million of them. Add to that, homosexuals and allied soldiers and you get, that this was no Godfather either. You wall yourself in, think of yourself first: sooner or later the world will destroy you.
Drumpf (his real family name) has pussy grabbed a level of paranoia in our society that is watching the world, change so rapidly, in abject horror, that all they can do is try to build a wall around their new brand of Christianity that has become a racist, exclusionary, perversion of faith.
And guys like Ted Cruzifix, jumps right in, as the poster boy for the heavengelicals, because he and most of the GOP know that BELIEVERS are programmed to BELIEVE and by pandering to them, by making false promises, by LYING to them, they will make the Koch Brothers richer beyond their wildest dreams and it will give the poor slobs out there, hope.
The 1% of this country is just not the richest, they hold the purse strings and pull the ones that make the marionettes dance.
THEY make the decisions. THEY call the shots. THEY get what they want.
Like Paddy Chayefsky said in "Network," there are no united states. Just multinational corporations that rule the world. Oil makes for one very unctuous, deep pocket planet.
But to men like me, I am still willing to PASSIONATELY stand like Lyn Manuel Miranda's Hamilton, and act like a true patriot as opposed to the extremists who are either staggeringly rich or spectacularly illiterate and gullible, whose only news sources are Fox, Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, Breitbart, The National Enquirer and worst of all, the Soviet Union thanks to the fake bots that continue to this very second.
The GOP has turned into a massive racketeering machine of pure obstruction because they are scared to death of losing their happy meal ticket.
Women today are empowered, inspiring take action human beings and people like Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Devon Nunes and Trey Gowdy are the nothing more than incontinent, hysterical mean girls.
And the biggest girl at the party is Trump. And a teenage one at that.
He starts his day doing his make up and hair. He throws a fit if someone tries to clean his room. He shows up to work...whenever. He huffs and whines. He hates reading. Gets bored playing President because it's like really HARD WORK. He watches TV endlessly. Eats junk food. Goes on booty calls. Throws temper tantrums, has an exaggerated sense of self and just wants to be rich.
Now compare that to the other faces on Mt. Rushmore.
Believe me, teenage girl Trump will be the biggest face on Mt. Russiamore alongside, Carter Paige, Vladimir Putin, Mike Pence and every other member of the GOP who has done nothing to stop Russia from influencing our elections, both past, present, and future.
What is the endgame?
Sadly the law stipulates that Bob Mueller is not allowed to make his findings public.
Theoretically, we may never hear the facts.
That will be up to the Acting Attorney General Rob Rosenstein---which is why TRUMP created that fake, edited, written by the GOP memo, to make it look like Rosenstein should be fired.
Trump will fight like the dumpster rat that he is to the very end. He will avoid interrogation, taking it all the way to the Supreme Court.
And the GOP will continue to be his henchmen.
You see, Russia is not the only country that is helping destroy our country.
Right Wing America is doing the job even better than them.
And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make and no lapel flag pins, no self-rightous "American first' speeches, no endless attacks on President Obama or Secretary Clinton are ever going to be able to replace the tarnish, the sins, the subversive conspiracy, the temporary loss of our ideals, civility and morality, the return of fascism, the staggering ignorance of scientific fact, the return of banned toxic chemicals to our water and land, the destruction of our school system and the loss of life saving entitlement programs.
Change will only come when we make the Government an offer that it can't refuse.
Not with idle threats.
Not just with demonstrations.
Not with automatic weapons.
With votes.
